To mark the end of the New York Clown Theatre Festival at The Brick in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the clowns staged a funeral procession from Bedford Avenue and North 7th Street to The Brick on Metropolitan Avenue. I learned about the march at the last minute on Facebook, and with some free time on my hands, I brought my camera and marched along with them. They were accompanied by The Shinbone Alley Stilt Band who played some great New Orleans style tunes. The funeral was great fun, and no clowns actually died.
